Music and Soundscape

In Te Maunga we have been learning about  musical instruments.I learnt that the foa foa is a shell. In groups of 3 we made soundscapes out of everyday objects. My group used a bucket of water to make the sound of a waterfall. We also used a cup of water and straws to make the sound of a volcano bubbling with lava and we used big rocks to make the sound of an asteroid hitting the volcano.

  1. Kia ora Kova - Rose its Calais in Te Ngahere. I really liked the sound effect video because you have used school objects and outside objects like rocks and containers. The noises that they made were very creative. This reminds me of when I was little and making a big volcano for fun but it was very hard and challenging, I hope you enjoy this blog comment.

How long did it take your class to finish making the volcano?
