Math Week

In Te Maunga we have been doing Maths week. In the activity Dress Ady we found out there were 27 ways to dress in red, blue and yellow.

Probability

In Te Maunga we have been learning about probability. We learnt you would normally roll a 7 by adding 3 and 4, 5 and 2, 6 and 1.

Music and Soundscape

In Te Maunga we have been learning about  musical instruments.I learnt that the foa foa is a shell. In groups of 3 we made soundscapes out of everyday objects. My group used a bucket of water to make the sound of a waterfall. We also used a cup of water and straws to make the sound of a volcano bubbling with lava and we used big rocks to make the sound of an asteroid hitting the volcano.
