On Monday Te Maunga and the rest of Paihia School watched Nanogirl in our whare. We learnt that you can light your hand on fire (if you are a professional). One thing I liked was watching Nanogirl and doing science week. From this you can learn multiple things by doing experiments.

Mind blowing Pepeha Art
In Te Maunga we have been doing art about our pepeha. We drew our maunga and our awa then we coloured in with a pastel. My favorite part about it was that we were telling other people about yourself. You can learn something about other people.

cricket
In Te Maunga we have been playing cricket. I learnt about standing the correct way, your feet have to be spread out shoulder width and also holding the bat in the middle. We played a game called speed cricket. The instructions are to hit the ball without hitting the wicket then you run to a pink pad and tap it with the tip of the bat and then you sprint back to the line and pass the bat to the next person.
